How do I use the Exploration and Development Plans Online Query tool
Go to http://www.gomr.boemre.gov/homepg/offshore/Plans_Permits/plans/master.asp
to search for Exploration
and Development (DOCD) plans.
To see the number of modifications
requested, withdrawn, pending, or deemed submitted plans (rather than a list of
approved plans), the numbers are available on the chart found at: http://www.gomr.boemre.gov/homepg/offshore/safety/well_permits.html
For a general search for approved plans,
follow these instructions:
- In the "Plan
Final Action Date" enter the beginning and end dates
for your search.
***For the search to recognize the
parameters you enter, the boxes to the left of these fields MUST be checked by
clicking on them.***
- Using the "Sort
Results By:" drop down menu, select Plan Final Action Code, and chose
"INCR" (increasing) or "DECR" (decreasing) to set the
order in which you view results.
- Click on the Submit Query Button
- To view a Public Information copy of the approved plan,
click on the hyperlinked Pages
(#-##) in the last column of the query results.
For a search of approved plans for a
certain type( New, Revised, Supplemental), follow
these instructions:
- In the "Plan
Final Action Date" enter the beginning and end dates
for your search.
- In the Plan
Control Code field, enter N
for new plans, R for revised plans, or S
for supplemental plans.

- Using the "Sort
