Safety Information

The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, Regulation and Enforcement (BOEMRE) is the primary Federal agency responsible for ensuring that all aspects of oil, gas, and sulfur leasing, exploration, development, production and abandonment activities on the Outer Continental Shelf are conducted in a safe manner.
