Platform Information and Data Available in ASCII Files for Downloading

Files in the table below are for the Gulf of Mexico OCS Region only. Platform/Rig Information and Data includes information on a complex with specific information on the structure and/or abandonment of a complex, production equipment and gas, oil, water and condensate status. This dataset provides information on the complex as to availability of a heliport and whether the complex is in the production status and manned or not.

Please read our disclaimer prior to downloading files. Download a copy of the file you want by clicking on Fixed under the Download column of the table below. The Fixed Format provides a defined length for each field within the file.  Once you have downloaded the data and have decompressed the file using PKZIP or WinZip, the data can then be imported into a variety of database or spreadsheet packages to facilitate queries or reports.

NOTE:  These files are scheduled for update on a monthly basis. If an update has not completed after 24 hours of the stated schedule, an email should be sent to GulfPublicInfo@boemre.gov providing the webpage address for further investigation.
