APIWellNum API_WELL_NUMBER - A unique well identification number consisting of (from left to right) a two digit state code (or pseudo for Offshore), a three digit county code (or pseudo for Offshore), a five digit unique well code, and if applicable, a two digit sidetrack code as defined in API Bulletin D12A.
MMSCompanyNum MMS_COMPANY_NUM -The number assigned by the Minerals Management Service to a business entity, individual, or agency with whom MMS does business or exchanges information.
BusAscName BUS_ASC_NAME -The name of a **business associate**.
BotmAreaCode AREA_CODE -The designated abbreviation assigned to Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) geographical units for identification purposes and for use on maps and in data bases.
BotmBlockNum BLOCK_NUMBER -Identifies a subdivision of an Official Protraction Diagram.
BotmLeaseNum BOTM_LEASE_NUM -The number assigned to the lease that contains the bottom location of a well.
DistrictCode DISTRICT_CODE -An indicator assigned to a sub-office of an Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) regional office which has delegated authority for field operations activities including: permitting wells, inspections, drilling, and production operations.
SubDate APD_RECEIVED_DT -Date the Application for Permit to Drill (APD) was received by the district office.
SurfNSDist SURF_N_S_DIST -North/South footage or distance that represents the length of a measurement from an identifiable line. /The distance from the borehole surface location to either the north or south block boundary.
SurfNSCode SURF_N_S_CODE -North/South descriptor that indicates the direction of a measurement from an identifiable line. /Indicates whether the surface borehole location is measured from the north (N) or south (S) block boundary.
SurfEWDist SURF_E_W_DIST -East_West footage or distance that represents the length of a measurement from an identifiable line./The distance from the borehole surface location to either the east or west block boundary.
SurfEWCode SURF_E_W_CODE -East/West descriptor that indicates the direction of a measurement from an identifiable line./Indicates whether the surface borehole location is measured from either the east (E) or west (W) block boundary.
SurfAreaCode AREA_CODE -The designated abbreviation assigned to Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) geographical units for identification purposes and for use on maps and in data bases.
SurfBlockNum BLOCK_NUMBER -Identifies a subdivision of an Official Protraction Diagram.
SurfLeaseNum SURF_LEASE_NUM - The number assigned to a lease by the regulatory agency having jurisdiction over mineral activity in the territory where the lease is located.
WellName WELL_NAME - The name assigned to the well. It may be a special name or the name of the property to which the well belongs.
WellNameSuffix This field is derived from the expression... DECODE(APD.WELL_NM_ST_SFIX,NULL,NULL,'ST'||APD.WELL_NM_ST_SFIX||'BP'||APD.WELL_NM_BP_SFIX) ...and consists of these database columns:
WELL_NM_ST_SFIX - A 2 digit numerical suffix to the well number that identifies the number of times a well has been drilled to a new geologic objective.
WELL_NM_ST_SFIX - A 2 digit numerical suffix to the well number that identifies the number of times a well has been drilled to a new geologic objective.
WELL_NM_BP_SFIX - A 2 digit numerical suffix to the well number that identifies the number of times that a specific segment of a wellbore has been re-drilled to the same geologic objective.
WaterDepth WATER_DEPTH -The depth of the water at a well/platform location from the water level to the mud line.
RigIDNumber RIG_ID_NUM -The number assigned by MMS to the drilling rig for internal identification purpose.
RigName RIG_NAME -The name of the drilling rig, assigned by the drilling contractor.
SurfXCoordLoc SURF_X_COORD_LOC -X coordinate for a surface location (east-west measurement).
SurfYCoordLoc SURF_Y_COORD_LOC -Y coordinate for a surface location (north-south measurement).
SurfaceLatitude SURF_LATITUDE -The latitude value of a location in the borehole. A positive value denotes north. Angle subtended with equatorial plane by a perpendicular from a point on the surface of a spheriod.
SurfaceLongitude SURF_LONGITUDE -The longitude value of a location in a borehole. A positive value denotes east. Angle measured about the spheroid axis from a local prime meridian to the meridian through the point.
AppDate APD_APRV_DATE -The date the Application for Permit to Drill(APD) is approved by the Minerals Management Service Field Operations.
